NewsFeed Staff interviewed teachers to hear about their unexplained paranormal experiences.
We will begin our interview with Speech and Language teacher Ms. Swanson's story of the famously haunted Palmer House in Sauk Centre.
NewsFeed: Do you believe in the paranormal?
Ms. Swanson: Yes.
NewsFeed: What is your paranormal experience?
Ms. Swanson: I was 14 years old and I was working the Palmer House in Sauk Centre; I was the dishwasher. One night, about one in the morning, I was alone in the theater room where we put on plays. A black shadow of a man walked right through the room. The shadow had a bowler hat on. I dropped what I was doing and took off to tell my friends. When we went back in the theater room there was nothing there. Over the five years I worked there, there had been multiple sightings and the owners said there was at least one ghost that always hung around.
NewsFeed: How did you feel when you saw the shadowy figure?
Ms. Swanson: It really scared me because I had no idea what I was seeing!
NewsFeed: When did you work at the Palmer House?
Ms. Swanson: 1980.
