Kia Weekes: It was a really cool experience! It was somewhat overwhelming. Noah Kramer: It was very humbling and slightly awkward. ANF: Were you surprised you won? KW: Yes! I remember watching coronation as a freshman and it never occurred to me that I might be a nominee one day. NK: Yes! ANF: Why do you think your peers nominated you for Homecoming Queen? KW: I like to try new things and meet new people, so I guess just being involved helped me get nominated. NK: I try to be genuinely kind and respectful all the time. ANF: What was your favorite part of the process? KW: I enjoyed getting to walk in the pep parade; it was a really fun and high-energy experience. NK: Talking with friends after coronation. ANF: Is there anything you'd like to share with next year's nominees? KW: Have fun with it. IT can be a little overwhelming, but just remember to enjoy it! NK: Enjoy the process and make the most out of the experience. It's once in a lifetime. ANF: What are your plans after graduating high school? KW: I plan on going to a 4 year college to get a degree in psychology. NK: Attend a 4 year university to study astronautical engineering. ANF: How did you celebrate your win? KW: Honestly, I went home and went to bed. NK: I went home, did homework, and went to bed...
